Melges 24 Nationals

Welcome and welcome back to all competitors in the 2010 Melges 24 National Championship Regatta!

We’re pleased to have you sailing out of Sail Newport this summer.  A few quick notes regarding storage and hoist use surrounding the event:
 
Storage, hoist use, trailer storage and any dockage during the event is included in your regatta fee.  Effective dates will be (show no earlier than) Wed, June 23 through (leave no later than) Monday, June 28.  Should anyone need storage earlier or later than those dates, they must contract transient storage with us beforehand (see transient rates below).  For a transient storage contract, please contact me via phone or email and I can mail one to you or have one waiting on your arrival. 
 
Event storage areas and staging areas will be clearly marked, and staff will be on hand should you have any questions or require and direction.  Thursday nights are quite busy at the gin pole/hoist area as this is Newport’s J/24 summer series race night.  We would ask that on Thursday the road to the hoists remain clear for our seasonal storage customers, as is spelled out in the sailing instructions, between 4:30 and 6:00pm, as well as after racing (about 8pm on).
